Job Description
- Experience: 6-7 years in Data Engineering, data platform development, and data lake architectures.
- Python: Strong, hands-on Python development for scalable, production-grade data solutions.
- Dagster: Extensive experience with Dagster for workflow orchestration, including: Ops, Graphs, Jobs, Schedules, Sensors Asset-based workflows Dagster deployment (Cloud / OSS / Kubernetes) Logging, monitoring, and observability in Dagster Data Pipelines: Proven ability to design, build, and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines (batch and/or streaming).
- Data Modeling & SQL: Strong SQL and data modeling concepts; experience with data warehouses.
- Data Warehouses: Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or equivalent.
- Data Ingestion & API Integrations: Knowledge of API integrations and data ingestion patterns; experience with data quality frameworks.
- Problem Solving & Delivery Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills; ability to design and implement end-to-end data solutions; hands-on delivery from design through deployment and support.
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git or equivalent VCS.
- Mentorship & Best Practices: Ability to mentor team members and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong cross-functional collaboration skills (requirements gathering, design discussions, etc.).
