Senior Python Backend Developer

We are looking for a Senior Python Backend Developer with strong experience in FastAPI to design and build scalable, high-performance backend systems. This role involves working on modern cloud-based architectures, handling large datasets, and developing robust APIs with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and security. Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Development

• Design and develop high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI
• Build scalable backend systems using microservices architecture
• Implement authentication, authorization, and request validation
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and best engineering practices

Performance & Scalability

• Optimize APIs for low latency, high throughput, and reliability
• Handle large volumes of concurrent requests
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks

Data & Database Management

• Work with large datasets (structured & semi-structured)
• Design and optimize MySQL database schemas
• Improve query performance using indexing and optimization techniques

 Cloud & DevOps (Azure Good to Have)

• Work with cloud environments such as Azure (preferred) or AWS
• Exposure to services like:
• Azure App Service / Functions
• Azure Storage
• Cloud-based database systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployments

 Collaboration & Ownership

• Participate in architecture discussions and system design
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

Key Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Python backend development
• Strong hands-on experience with FastAPI (must-have)
• Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs
• Good understanding of:
• Backend system design
• Performance optimization
• Database concepts (MySQL/SQL)
• Knowledge of API security practices (JWT, OAuth, validation, etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
