Job Title: Senior Power BI Developer with SQL and SAP Integration Expertise
Location: Hyderabad-India
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Power BI Developer with a strong background in SQL, ETL processes, and DAX calculations. The ideal candidate will also have expertise in integrating SQL data sources with SAP (on-premise). This role requires a professional who can design, develop, and maintain analytical dashboards, manage large datasets, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring usability and performance.
- Perform advanced DAX calculations for custom measures and data visualization needs.
- Integrate and transform data from SAP (on-premise) into SQL Server for reporting and analytics.
- Implement ETL processes to extract, clean, and prepare data for business intelligence projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, delivering effective data-driven solutions.
- Optimize queries, improve data retrieval processes, and ensure data accuracy across systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to Power BI reports and SQL data sources.
- Work closely with the SAP team to streamline data flow and ensure efficient integration.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Power BI development, including DAX functions and advanced analytics.
- Strong expertise in SQL programming and ETL processes .
- Hands-on experience with SAP (on-premise) as a data source for reporting.
- Solid understanding of data modelling concepts and database management.
- Experience in performance tuning of reports and queries.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BEx Queries is a plus.
- Experience with other visualization tools like Tableau or QlikView is an advantage.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R for data manipulation.
