Senior Power BI Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Power BI professional with strong business-facing communication skills and deep expertise in enterprise BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Power BI, Snowflake, semantic data modeling, and strong domain knowledge across Finance,HR, and Procurement functions. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and insightful analytics solutions.

Role Requirements:

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports for enterprise-wide reporting needs
• Build and manage complex semantic models ensuring scalability, performance, and consistency across business domains
• Work directly with business stakeholders across Finance, HR, and Procurement to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions
• Develop optimized DAX measures, KPIs, and analytical calculations
• Design robust data models (star/snowflake schemas) aligned to enterprise reporting standards
• Integrate and work extensively with Snowflake data warehouse for data sourcing and transformation
• Ensure data governance, accuracy, and consistency across Finance, HR, and Procurement datasets
• Collaborate with data engineering teams for ETL and data pipeline alignment
• Provide actionable insights and storytelling through dashboards for executive and operational users
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize large-scale Power BI datasets and reports
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business users, ensuring clear communication and expectation alignment

Required Skills Qualifications:

• 10-12 years of overall experience in BI, analytics, and reporting
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI (Power Query, DAX, modeling, performance tuning)
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake Inc. in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience in designing and developing semantic models for large scale analytics solutions
• Proven domain expertise in:
  • Finance (budgeting, forecasting, PL, cost analysis)
  • HR (workforce analytics, headcount, attrition, compensation metrics)
  • Procurement (spend analysis, vendor performance, purchase analytics)
• Strong SQL skills and ability to work with large, complex datasets
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in enterprise-wide BI transformation programs.
• Knowledge of data governance, master data management, and reporting standards.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure / AWS / GCP.
• Experience mentoring teams or leading BI delivery streams.
• Strong communication and business engagement skills.
• Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving approach.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different business functions.
• Strong ownership mindset with delivery focus.
