Source to contract (sourcing plan, tender, negotiate and contract drafting)

What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organizationDelivering the sourcing strategy as part of the category strategy and ensuring delivery of defined key business targets and supporting key escalations of the business through a defined supplier management programme
What are we looking for
Execute end to end sourcing projects in line with global standards and policies.
Assist and coordinate on global and geographic contract negotiations effectively to deliver robust terms and conditions that manages Clients service delivery and commercial risk that represent value for money.
Build strong supplier base relationships and manage negotiation and supplier selection within the framework of the category strategies and sourcing strategies.
Drive global and geographic supplier management and continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers in coordination with business functions and Category leads.
Ability to understand and communicate the individual category strategy to internal stakeholders.
Business Continuity plan execution and pro-active risk management.
Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant area
CIPS Corporate Diploma in Purchasing and/or membership of The Chartered Institute for Purchasing and Supply or equivalent country qualification or membership would be an advantage
End-to-end Agile and Strategic Sourcing projects knowledge using appropriate strategies to deliver optimum savings.
End to end knowledge and experience in E-Auction, reverse e-auction sourcing process and strategy.
Identify, evaluate, and prioritize sourcing opportunities through in-depth spend analysis, market research, and RFP responses (i.e., supplier negotiation, technocommercial evaluation, award recommendations, business case presentations and supplier contract execution)
Stakeholders (internal external) and Supplier relationship management for value-based negotiations.
Contract and/or Business case drafting and appropriate knowledge of frequently used clauses in the Contract (legal agreement) including negotiation with Supplier on Contract TCs.
Contract life cycle management, including Variations/amendments and closures.
Effective written verbal communication and presentation skills.
The resource should also be able to work with the legal and technical teams to facilitate and assist the negotiations of the legal and technical terms in a contract.
Ability to negotiate and close the contract with advice from legal and technical/ business teams.
At least 50% of experience should be in managing global client stakeholders and global suppliers (for India).Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
Knowledge of the Category including the external marketplace, key drivers and levers, supply base and balance of power, supplier capabilities and trends
Strong Stakeholder Management skillset
Expertise in negotiation skills and influencing skills: able to influence business partners and suppliers as well as the ability to be assertive if required to ensure compliance to contract
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong digital analytical and numerical ability
Ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships working across geographic boundaries and functions
A focus on service delivery and savings
Preferably IWS / Lean Manufacturing experience
