Senior Node.js Developer (4-6 yrs)

We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer with 4+ years of experience in building scalable, high-performance backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, microservices architecture, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.

- Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.

- Develop microservices-based applications and ensure seamless system integration.

- Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver business requirements.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers when required.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4+ years of professional experience in backend development.

- Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js frameworks.

- Strong understanding of REST APIs and API design principles.

- Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.

- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience with Docker, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of Git version control and collaborative development workflows.

- Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
