Senior Network Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewall environments, including security policies, NAT, ACLs, VPNs, and traffic inspection.
• Design and support cloud network connectivity across Azure, AWS, and GCP, including VPC/VNet setup, routing, subnets, gateways, load balancers, and hybrid connectivity.
• Implement and maintain secure site-to-site and remote-access VPN solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Monitor network security events, review logs, investigate incidents, and support remediation and root-cause analysis.
• Work with SOC, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to enforce segmentation, access controls, and zero-trust-aligned security practices.jobs.
• Perform firewall rule reviews, policy optimization, periodic clean-up, and documentation updates.
• Support change management, patching, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery readiness for network security devices.
• Prepare technical documentation, diagrams, audit evidence, and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, switching, VLANs, and DNS/DHCP.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco ASA.
• Experience in cloud networking and security for at least one of Azure, AWS, or GCP; multi-cloud exposure is preferred.
• Understanding of IDS/IPS, SIEM integration, endpoint/network security controls, and secure connectivity models
• Ability to troubleshoot connectivity, firewall, and cloud networking issues in production environments.
• Strong documentation, incident management, and stakeholder communication skills.

Certification Requirements

• CCNA or CCNP preferred.
• PCNSE preferred for Palo Alto expertise.
• Azure, AWS, or GCP certifications are preferred for cloud networking roles.
