Senior Network Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Manage Cisco, Meraki and Nexus switching infrastructure including VLANs, STP, VPC, Port Channels and EtherChannel.
  • Configure and support Meraki Wireless, SD-WAN and Palo Alto CloudGenix SD-WAN environments.
  • Provide L2 support for Palo Alto Firewalls, Prisma/GlobalProtect VPN and Panorama.
  • Support Layer 3 technologies including OSPF, BGP, Static Routing and VRFs.
  • Coordinate with ISPs for circuit provisioning, link monitoring and issue resolution.
  • Support AWS VPC networking including VPCs, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups and NAT/Internet Gateways.
  • Support AWS Site-to-Site VPN, Direct Connect, VPC Peering and Transit Gateway connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot networking for AWS EC2, ALB/NLB and Route53 in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Monitor AWS networking using CloudWatch and coordinate with Cloud teams for incident resolution.
  • Manage network incidents, ServiceNow tickets and Change Management activities in accordance with ITIL processes.
  • Perform firmware upgrades, patching, capacity planning and performance monitoring.
  • Maintain network documentation, SOPs and configuration records.

• Engineering or equivalent Graduate Degree
• CCNA (Mandatory)
• CCNP Enterprise (Preferred)
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate (Preferred)
• ITIL 4 Foundation (Preferred)

• Ability to work under pressure in a 24x7 environment
• Team player with customer-focused approach
