Senior .Net Developer

As a Senior .NET backend Developer for Uster Technologies (India) Private Limited (Uster India), based in Coimbatore, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend for web applications, APIs and Azure functions. You will work on building scalable back-end APIs, SQL server and Azure functions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, youll help shape technical direction, ensure code quality, and contribute to key architectural decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement server application for cloud services in a microservice environment.
• Write effective APIs and RESTful services.
• Develop well-functioning databases and maintain them.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Work on bug fixes and improving application performance.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Work closely with international development and product teams.
• Demonstrate independent problem-solving skills, with support from the team when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in C#, ASP.net Core, Web API
• Proficiency in ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and RESTful API development
• Experience with SQL Server; ability to design tables and write queries.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles, software architecture, design patterns, and object-oriented programming
• Experience with MS unit testing and integration testing
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern DevOps practices
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving and excellent communication skills in English.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering, or related field
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude.

Nice to Have

• Microsoft Azure or equivalent certifications.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and security best practices
• Previous experience in mentoring junior developers
• Knowledge of the textile manufacturing process.
• Exposure to Front end frameworks like Angular
