Job Title: Senior Motion Graphics Artist
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Motion Graphics Artist to join our dynamic team. With 5-7 years of professional experience, the ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their expertise in creating stunning motion graphics and animations for a variety of platforms. As a Senior Motion Graphics Artist, you will play an integral role in bringing visual concepts to life, producing high-quality motion graphics that align with our brand's identity and creative vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and animate motion graphics for video, digital content, TV commercials, social media, and more, maintaining a high level of creativity and visual consistency across all projects.
- Work closely with the creative team, directors, producers, and clients to translate concepts, ideas, and messages into visually engaging motion graphics.
- Create animations that effectively communicate a story, brand, or message through dynamic visuals and thoughtful design.
- Develop compelling designs, visual effects, and elements that enhance the video’s aesthetic, including transitions, lower thirds, logo animations, and infographics.
- Present design concepts to clients or stakeholders and iterate on feedback to meet their vision and objectives. Guide and mentor junior motion graphics artists, sharing industry best practices and creative techniques to foster skill development within the team.
- Manage multiple motion graphics projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Keep up to date with trends, new animation techniques, software, and tools to continually evolve the creative output and push the boundaries of motion design.
- 5-7 years of professional experience in motion graphics design, animation, and visual effects, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your work.
- Exceptional creative and artistic skills with a keen eye for detail, strong understanding of design principles, and a passion for storytelling through motion.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients and cross functional teams to deliver visually stunning and on-brand content.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical and creative challenges and find efficient solutions.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Proficiency in 3D software such as Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar tools for creating complex 3D animations and effects.
- Strong knowledge of compositing software like Adobe After Effects or Nuke to integrate motion graphics with live-action footage.
- Strong understanding of the principles of animation, timing, and motion to create smooth, natural animations. Experience with color correction, grading, and compositing to ensure cohesive visual effects.
- Familiarity with managing media assets, organizing project files, and ensuring workflows remain efficient and organized.
- A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Motion Graphics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Experience with additional animation or visual effects software such as Houdini, Maya, or 3D Studio Max is a plus.
- Previous experience working directly with clients or stakeholders to understand their vision and deliver results. Strong skills in digital illustration and graphic design for creating custom assets for motion design projects.
