Senior MEP Engineer

• Project Management: Assist in the management of MEP projects from initiation to completion. This includes coordinating with the project team, setting project goals, creating schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and regulations.
• Design Review and Coordination: Review and analyze MEP system designs, including HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), electrical distribution, lighting, plumbing, fire protection, and other related systems. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that the design aligns with project requirements and objectives.
• Budgeting and Cost Control: Assist in preparing budgets and cost estimates for MEP systems. Monitor expenses, track costs, and implement cost control measures to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
• Quality Control and Assurance: Oversee the quality control and assurance processes for MEP systems, ensuring that installations, equipment, and materials meet the specified standards and requirements. Conduct inspections, review test results, and address any deficiencies or non-compliance issues.
• Contractor Management: Coordinate with MEP contractors and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication, adherence to project schedules, and compliance with safety regulations. Monitor contractor performance, resolve conflicts, and ensure the timely completion of MEP works.
• MEP System Commissioning: Participate in the commissioning process of MEP systems, which involves testing, balancing, and fine-tuning the systems to ensure they operate as intended. Verify proper functioning, performance, and energy efficiency of MEP systems, and address any issues or deficiencies.
