Senior Marine Technician

We are looking for an experienced Senior Marine Technician to join our marine operations in Qatar. The role involves leading engine overhauls, diagnosing complex technical issues, and maintaining marine engines, generators, and auxiliary systems to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.

• Lead and carry out complete overhauls of marine engines and generator sets
• Diagnose and resolve complex faults in engines, generators, and auxiliary machinery
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime
• Identify required spare parts and manage inventory with accurate tracking and documentation
• Perform maintenance and repairs on auxiliary equipment including pumps, compressors, and related systems
• Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of onboard HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and operational procedures

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Marine Technician or similar role
• Strong expertise in diesel engines, inboard and outboard marine propulsion systems, and powertrain components
• Proven experience in troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and auxiliary marine equipment
• Experience working with multiple marine engine and generator brands
