Senior Manager/Assistant Vice President, Pre Acquisition Risk Data min

Role & responsibilities :

• Risk Management: Overseeing the risk associated with offer generation, including credit risk, operational risk, and reputational risk.
• Data Management and Analytics:
• Managing and analysing vast datasets, running policy waterfalls on offers to identify patterns, trends, and potential risks related to offer generation.
• Coding skills on SAS, SQL, and Python etc. is a must.
• Well versed in running statistical analysis through Decision tree etc.
• Process Governance:
• Establishing and maintaining robust processes for offer generation, including data validation, approval workflows, and ongoing monitoring.
• Ensuring timely release of offers to all relevant stakeholders
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Effectively communicating risk-related information to stakeholders, including senior management and business teams.
• Collaborate with analytics team, product teams and IT to ensure consistent data.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies related to offer generation and credit lending.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the financial services industry, particularly in areas related to credit lending and offer generation.

Preferred candidate profile :

• At least 6 years of experience with 4 years of Credit Cards data mining policy management.
• Strong understanding of unsecured lending products like Credit Card & Personal Loans
• Prior experience in managing risk activities in retail lending and portfolio is essential
• Graduate/ Postgraduate in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 6 years of experience in Business Intelligence/ Data Analytics in the banking sector.
• Hands on experience in data visualization tools and language like SAS, SQL, and Python.
• Should have relevant working knowledge of banking systems, BRE and LOS systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
