Job Description

Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the Health, Safety Environment (HSE) function across all our real estate and construction projects. The Safety Head will be responsible for defining and executing the safety strategy, ensuring statutory compliance, conducting regular audits and risk assessments, and fostering a strong culture of safety among employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and oversee the companysafety management system across all sites.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, regulatory standards, and company policies related to HSE.
  • Lead safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend preventive measures.
  • Establish contractor safety management frameworks, including induction, training, and performance monitoring.
  • Investigate incidents/accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conduct regular safety awareness programs, toolbox talks, and training sessions for employees and contractors.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety into planning, execution, and handover stages of all projects.
  • Develop and monitor HSE KPIs, dashboards, and reporting systems for management review.
  • Stay updated on latest safety practices, tools, and statutory amendments to ensure organizational compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve a Zero Incidentculture.
Qualifications Experience
  • Diploma in Safety/Industrial Safety/Fire Safety from a recognized institute.
  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in HSE management, preferably in construction/real estate.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, IS codes, NBC, and local/state safety norms.
  • Hands-on experience in contractor safety management and incident prevention strategies.
  • Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and instill a culture of safety at all organizational levels.
