Job Description
The Senior Manager - Quality is responsible for establishing, implementing, and sustaining robust quality management systems across all projects to ensure the highest standards of construction quality. This role plays a critical part in driving quality assurance, quality control, regulatory compliance, risk management, team leadership, and ERP-based quality integration. The position demands strong technical expertise, proven leadership capability, and a continuous improvement mindset within the real estate or construction environment.
Quality Management Systems
- Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure adherence to quality standards, codes and regulations.
- Establish processes, procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency in quality across all projects.
Quality Assurance
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs to assess and enhance the quality of construction processes and deliverables.
- Conduct quality reviews, track performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality.
Quality Control
- Establish and monitor quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify non-conformities, defects and deficiencies.
- Work closely with project teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Provide guidance to other team members on meeting company s quality standards.
Compliance and Standards
- Stay updated with industry standards, codes and regulations related to construction quality.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and certifications such as ISO standards and building codes.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams in meeting compliance requirements.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of quality inspections, audits and corrective actions.
- Prepare timely reports on quality performance, trends and recommendations for management review.
Training and Development
- Provide training and support to team on quality management principles, techniques and best practices.
- Promote a culture of quality consciousness and continuous improvement among project teams.
Supplier and Subcontractor Management
- Collaborate with procurement and subcontractor teams to ensure that suppliers and subcontractors meet quality requirements.
- Conduct quality assessments and audits of suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Risk Management
- Identify potential quality risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Implement measures to prevent quality-related issues and ensure proactive risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Leadership
- Provide leadership and guidance to the quality team. Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration and accountability.
- Set performance expectations, conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and mentoring to team members.
ERP Integration:
- Lead the integration of Quality Management modules within the companys ERP system.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency within the ERP system to support quality management processes.
- Train employees on using ERP tools for quality monitoring and reporting.
