Senior Manager - Procurement (Capex)

Technical Skills Requirement :

• Experience in cross-plant & cross functional collaboration. Understanding of cross-plant requirements and needs of category and procure the same as per SOP. Technical understanding of the Projects electro-mechanical and Capex Turnkey Systems required for KOV Plant.
• Driving the Projects procurement and capex (KOV) procurement cycle RFQ vendor assessment techno-commercial evaluation negotiations vendor finalisation Purchase order processing.
• Detailed Techno-commercial evaluation of proposals.
• Cost effective procurement of Electro-Mechanical equipments, services and projects.
• Strong understanding of various equipments, machines, systems required for Projects / plants and special projects necessary to evaluate vendor proposals and ensure that the purchased products meet the organization's requirements.
• Expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, utilizing a data-driven approach to decision-making and managing multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in procurement tools and systems, with experience in SAP.
• Day to day coordination with vendors and internal stake holders.

Role & responsibilities

• Procurement of Projects, Capex (KOV Plant) Electro-Mechanical equipments..
• Responsible for Vendor Assessment, Techno-commercial evaluation, Cost estimation, Price Comparison, negotiations, Vendor finalisation, Purchase order processing.
• Achieve cost reduction.
• Develop overarching view on supplier structure and lead supplier strategy with performing suppliers. Consolidate & manage overall spend across category.
• Effective Management of Vendors - Vendor assessment, alternate source development etc.
• Active coordination with Engineering, Plant, Corporate Team, end user for detailing related to purchase requisitions and specifications.
• Visit to Vendors & Plants for necessary evaluation / coordination.
• Responsible for tracking, record keeping and maintaining all commercial documentations related to order finalisation.
• To track and achieve KPIs in respective area
• Submission of weekly and Monthly MIS
• Responsible for purchase Planning & Procurement, vendor management & vendor development.
• Delivery of savings (time, cost, quality) towards overall business.
• Execute /Perform as per defined KPIs to track performance across category materials and services.
• Maintain visibility on savings generation process thru VA/VE and other standard cost levers.
