Senior Manager - Payroll

Role & responsibilities

1. GL Accounting & Financial Close for TML,TMPV,TPEM and TMGSL

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities related to employee costs and benefits.
• Review and post journal entries, accruals, provisions, reversals, and reclassifications.
• Monitor GL balances and investigate unusual movements or variances.

2. Reconciliation & Governance

• Validate payroll accounting entries and ensure seamless HR-to-FI integration.
• Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations for salary payable, employee benefit provisions, statutory liabilities, and control accounts.
• Track open items and ensure timely resolution of reconciliation exceptions.
• Support Oracle ARCS and other reconciliation platforms, where applicable.
• Support financial reporting requirements for TML, domestic and international entities serviced by TMGSL.

3. SAP & Digital Transformation

• Drive accounting process execution in SAP ECC/S4 HANA environment. Monitor HR-FI interface postings and resolve integration issues.
• Support UAT, system upgrades, automation initiatives, and process standardization projects.

4. Audit

• Internal & External Audit Query resolving
• Audit regarding data transfer
• Audit walkthrough of data transfer & IPE testing
• Sharing of data for H2R related audit
• Coordination with stakeholders for sharing quarterly audit
• Sharing of Salary Cost data CC wise & Plant wise

Skills & Competencies

SAP FI, SAP HCM ECC 6.0, Ms Excel, GL , Accounting

CA/ICWA/CMA

Payroll Accounting , GL , SAP FI

510 years of experience in General Ledger, Record-to-Report (R2R), or H2R Accounting
