Job Description

1. Financial Reporting & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS).
  • Prepare and coordinate the Annual Report in collaboration with Statutory Auditors.
  • Prepare financial statement schedules, notes, and supporting workings.
  • Prepare and submit Consolidated Financial Statements.
  • Prepare quarterly financial statements and ensure timely submission.
  • Coordinate with Internal Auditors during quarterly audits and facilitate timely closure of audit observations.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory financial reporting requirements.

2. Tax Compliance

  • Prepare and file Income Tax Returns in coordination with Tax Auditors.
  • Ensure timely compliance with TDS and TCS provisions under the Income Tax Act.
  • Review and file quarterly TDS/TCS returns within prescribed timelines.
  • Prepare documentation and respond to income tax assessments, scrutiny notices, appeals, and other statutory communications.
  • Coordinate with tax consultants and regulatory authorities for compliance matters.

3. Plant Finance Operations

  • Review and approve daily payments to plant labour, contractors, and vendors.
  • Ensure all payments are properly authorized, accurate, and processed within defined timelines.
  • Monitor plant financial transactions and ensure adherence to company policies and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with plant finance teams to standardize financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Support finance initiatives for cost control and process optimization across manufacturing operations.

4. Financial Controls & Systems

  • Conduct periodic General Ledger (GL) scrutiny to ensure accurate accounting and recording of transactions.
  • Review ledger balances and perform timely reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal financial controls.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen financial systems and reporting accuracy.
  • Support ERP and finance system enhancement initiatives wherever required.

Required Qualifications

  • CA / CMA (Qualified or Inter) / MBA (Finance) / M.Com / B.Com with relevant experience.

Experience

  • 510 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in Manufacturing, Textile, or Spinning industries.
  • Experience in statutory audits, tax compliance, financial reporting, and plant finance operations.
  • Working knowledge of Ind AS, Income Tax, TDS/TCS, and financial controls.
