Role & responsibilities
Lead and manage the institution's IT operations, infrastructure, and technology initiatives.
Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational goals and academic requirements.
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of hardware, software, networks, and servers.
Ensure the security, availability, and performance of IT systems and infrastructure.
Manage Learning Management Systems (LMS), ERP systems, and other educational technology platforms.
Lead and mentor the IT team, ensuring efficient service delivery and technical support.
Monitor and resolve complex technical issues related to systems, networks, and applications.
Ensure data security, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance with IT policies and standards.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement, implementation, and maintenance of IT solutions.
Manage IT budgets, asset inventory, and technology-related expenditures.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency.
