Job Description
Develop and implement a comprehensive CSR fundraising strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with potential and existing corporate partners in India.
Create compelling proposals, presentations, and reports to secure funding and support from CSR initiatives.
Lead negotiations and finalize agreements with corporate partners, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
Stay abreast of CSR trends, regulations, and best practices in India, and leverage this knowledge to enhance fundraising efforts.
Collaborate with internal teams (program, finance, and communications) to develop impactful CSR projects and initiatives.
Oversee the management of CSR partnerships, ensuring timely reporting, compliance, and effective communication.
Monitor and analyze fundraising performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management.
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand CSR outreach.
Mentor and guide junior fundraising team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, non-profit management, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in CSR fundraising, corporate partnerships, or business development in the non-profit sector in India.
Proven track record of successfully securing significant funding from corporate sources.
Strong understanding of CSR regulations and practices in India, including Section 135 of the Companies Act.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners.
Demonstrated experience in developing and managing budgets, tracking metrics, and reporting on fundraising performance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Proficiency in CRM software and other fundraising tools.
Fluency in English and Hindi is required; knowledge of other regional languages is an asset.
