In this role, you ll design, build and maintain the high-volume business logic that runs on the mainframe. At the same time you ll play a key role in refactoring legacy code to enable modern cloud and mobile applications to seamlessly interact with the mainframe s core data.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy microservices using Spring Boot 4 and Java 17+
• Implement real-time event streaming solutions using Apache Kafka
• Consume, transform, and enrich streaming data
• Implement change-detection logic and publish new events when data changes occur
• Integrate and optimize data persistence in MySQL
• Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure PaaS
• Implement fault-tolerant, scalable, and highly available streaming applications
• Configure retry mechanisms, dead-letter topics, and idempotent processing
• Write unit, integration, and performance tests
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines
