Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team for a large-scale redevelopment and Digital Transformation project in Uttarakhand.

The candidate will be responsible for understanding business processes, interacting with government/department stakeholders, translating requirements into detailed functional specifications, and working closely with Product, UI/UX, Development, QA and Project Management teams to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed stakeholder discussions, workshops and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Understand and document municipal services and e-Governance workflows.
• Analyze existing processes and identify functional gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare BRD, FRD/FRS, SRS, process flows, use cases, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Convert business requirements into clear functional requirements for development teams.
• Work closely with UI/UX teams to define user journeys, screens and workflows.
• Coordinate with Development and QA teams throughout the SDLC.
• Prepare and maintain requirement traceability matrices.
• Define functional scenarios, test scenarios and support UAT activities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for requirement validation, UAT and sign-offs.
• Identify dependencies, risks, gaps and change requests.
• Support project managers in milestone planning and delivery tracking.
• Prepare functional documentation, presentations, process diagrams and project reports.
• Participate in production rollout, stabilization and post-go-live support.
• Ensure requirements are properly documented and aligned with approved project scope.

Required Skills

• Strong Business Analysis and Requirement Engineering skills.
• Excellent documentation and analytical abilities.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/iterative development.
• Experience preparing BRD, FRD/FRS, SRS, Use Cases and User Stories.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work with Government/PSU/enterprise stakeholders.
• Good understanding of APIs, system integrations and application workflows.
• Experience with Jira / Azure DevOps / similar project management tools is preferred.
• Knowledge of UML, process modelling and tools such as Visio, Draw.io or equivalent.
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working on Government / e-Governance projects.
• Experience in large-scale portal/application implementation.
• Experience handling multiple modules and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience in UAT planning, execution and stakeholder sign-off.
• Experience working in a hybrid onsite/offshore delivery model.
