About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams by analyzing business needs, defining functional requirements, and delivering scalable IT solutions.

The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities, implement enterprise applications, and ensure successful adoption of technology solutions across business functions.

This role requires strong analytical, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills, along with the ability to translate business challenges into technology-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges, business objectives, and functional requirements.

- Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions to document business processes and system needs.

- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), user stories, process flows, and use cases.

- Analyze existing business processes and recommend technology-driven improvements.

Solution Design & Implementation:

- Work closely with Solution Architects, Developers, and IT teams to translate business requirements into functional solutions.

- Evaluate existing enterprise applications and recommend enhancements or new technology solutions.

- Ensure proposed solutions align with business goals, IT standards, and enterprise architecture.

- Support end-to-end implementation of enterprise applications and system enhancements.

Stakeholder Management:

- Act as the primary liaison between business users, IT teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.

- Manage stakeholder expectations through regular communication, project updates, and requirement validation sessions.

- Coordinate with factory/site teams to ensure smooth implementation and user adoption of IT solutions.

Project Coordination:

- Support project planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities.

- Track project timelines, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

- Develop test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.

- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and regression testing.

- Validate implemented solutions against business requirements and ensure successful deployment.

User Training & Change Management:

- Develop user manuals, training materials, and process documentation.

- Conduct end-user training sessions and provide post-implementation support.

- Drive user adoption by monitoring usage KPIs and gathering continuous feedback.

Production Support:

- Provide first and second-level functional support for enterprise applications.

- Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate with technical teams for timely resolution.

- Monitor application performance and recommend continuous improvements.

Process Improvement:

- Analyze business workflows to identify automation and optimization opportunities.

- Recommend best practices for improving operational efficiency, productivity, and system utilization.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to support digital transformation initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 5-10 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Functional Consultant, or IT Consultant.

- Strong experience in business requirement gathering, process analysis, and solution design.

- Experience working with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, Manufacturing Systems, or Supply Chain applications.

- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project methodologies.

- Experience in project coordination and stakeholder management.

- Strong understanding of business process mapping, workflow analysis, and functional documentation.

- Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and solution validation.

- Good understanding of databases, system integration, application security, and troubleshooting.

- Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in Manufacturing or Factory Operations environments.

- Exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar enterprise applications.

- Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, Visio, Jira, Confluence, or other business analysis tools.

- Experience in digital transformation and process automation initiatives.

- Knowledge of ITIL or IT Service Management practices is an added advantage.

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

- MBA or relevant Business Analysis/Project Management certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, Scrum, Agile) will be an added advantage.
