Senior iOS Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer with a Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience in designing and building native mobile applications for the iOS platform. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MVVM architecture, Firebase, Combine framework, Objective-C, Swift, and Cocoa Touch. Experience with REST and JSON for remote data, Agile and Lean methodologies, and familiarity with push notifications, APIs, and cloud messaging are essential.

About the Role

Design and develop high quality and reliable code with unit test cases, meeting given specifications. In this role, your primary responsibility would be to develop iOS mobile apps, enhance existing iOS mobile apps, maintain production iOS apps, and support third-party product implementations/integrations.

You will interact with various stakeholders and work with cross-technical teams across the design, coding, testing, production deployment, and third-party product implementation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high quality and reliable code with unit test cases, meeting given specifications.
• Develop iOS mobile apps.
• Enhance existing iOS mobile apps.
• Maintain production iOS apps.
• Support third-party product implementations/integrations.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Resolve production issues, analyze root cause issues and provide resolution in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree with 5 years plus experience in designing and building native mobile applications for the iOS platform.
• Experience working in MVVM architecture, Firebase and Combine framework.
• Experience working in Objective-C, Swift, and Cocoa Touch.
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
• Experience working in Agile and Lean software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with push notifications, APIs, and cloud messaging.
• Knowledge of Apple's design principles and application interface guidelines.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and program complex application stack.
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Software Quality Assurance processes.
• Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge in Travel, hospitality, Airline or retail B2C domain will be preferred.
