Roles and responsibilities
A Quality Line Inspector monitors production processes on the shop floor to ensure products meet quality standards. They inspect materials, check finished goods, and identify defects during manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities - Inspect products during different stages of production
- Check raw materials and finished goods for quality standards
- Identify defects, damages, or deviations from specifications
- Record inspection results and maintain quality reports
- Stop or report production if major quality issues are found
- Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and safety standards
- Perform random sampling and testing as required
