Job Title: Senior Graphic Designer

Location: Bangalore (Work from Office only)

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 11:00 am to 8:00 pm (flexibility required based on deliverables)

Key Responsibilities

? Lead the design and execution of high-impact marketing creatives, campaign visuals, social media assets, packaging, and promotional material targeted toward parents of young learners.

? Collaborate with content strategists, curriculum teams, and motion designers to bring product offerings and campaigns to life across digital and offline channels.

? Develop design systems and templates that ensure visual consistency across VEL's communication and product ecosystem.

? Craft compelling visuals for performance marketing ads, influencer partnerships, microsites, landing pages, and event branding.

? Work on UX/UI screens and assets for parent- and child-facing touchpoints when needed.

? Stay updated with trends in early learning, parenting, and children's media to create fresh, age-appropriate, and emotionally resonant visuals.

? Mentor junior designers (if any) and help elevate the overall design quality of the team.

Who You Are (Must-Haves)

? 5+ years of professional graphic design experience in brand marketing, digital campaigns, or product-based design, preferably in EdTech, consumer, or parenting sectors.

? A strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of high-quality work across digital, print, and branding.

? Mastery in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and basic prototyping.

? Demonstrated ability to think conceptually and strategically about design, user behavior, and communication goals.

? Excellent attention to detail, color theory, layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.

? Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.

Good to Have

? Background in designing for kids/parents/education-related brands.

? Illustration or animation skills (bonus if you've worked on storybooks, worksheets, or child-centric visuals).

? Familiarity with digital ad platforms and design for conversion (performance creatives).

? A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field.
