Job Description
We are seeking a Senior FullStack Software Engineer with strong handson experience in Node.js, React.js, and SQL to join our growing product engineering team. This role is focused on endtoend feature ownership, deep technical execution, and building scalable, highperformance web applications.
As a senior engineer, you will play a key role in mentoring junior developers, collaborating with crossfunctional teams, and applying solid engineering practiceswhile remaining handson with code.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building robust systems and want to grow their technical leadership influence without owning enterprisewide architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development & Delivery
- Design, develop, test, and deploy fullstack web applications using Node.js and React.js
- Own features endtoend—from requirements to production release
- Write clean, maintainable, and highquality code with a focus on performance and scalability
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues across frontend, backend, and database layers
- Participate actively in code reviews and improve overall engineering standards.
Design & Engineering Excellence
- Translate business and functional requirements into welldesigned technical solutions
- Apply sound engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Design and optimize SQL schemas and queries for performance and reliability
- Ensure solutions meet nonfunctional requirements such as security, performance, and availability
Collaboration & Mentorship
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical discussions
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, QA, UX, and DevOps teams
- Contribute to sprint planning, estimations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
AIAssisted Development
- Leverage tools like GitHub Copilot and other AIassisted development tools
- Review, validate, and refine AIgenerated code for correctness, quality, and security
- Support responsible adoption of AIassisted development practices within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Node.js (Express.js or similar frameworks)
- Proficiency in React.js and modern frontend development practices
- Strong knowledge of SQL, including schema design and query optimization
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Engineering Practices
- Strong understanding of clean code principles, refactoring, and performance tuning
- Excellent debugging and problemsolving skills
- Experience with unit, integration, or component testing
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern development tools
Experience
- 5–8 years of professional software development experience
- Proven experience delivering productiongrade fullstack applications
- Prior experience working in Agile or fastpaced product development teams.
