JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong front-end focus to work on the TAMM platform, Abu Dhabi's unified digital government services portal. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in modern front-end frameworks, scalable architecture, UI/UX engineering, accessibility (WCAG), and integration with back-end microservices. Experience with government or e-services platforms is strongly preferred.

Note: Confirmation pending from Tahaluf on the primary framework (Angular vs React) screen for both until confirmed.

Engagement: 6 months to 1 year (extendable)

Work Hours: Aligned to Abu Dhabi Time (GST, UTC+4)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications using Angular or React, ensuring consistent performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Build responsive, pixel-perfect UI components meeting WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
• Implement modular, maintainable front-end architectures following Clean Architecture and component-driven design principles.
• Implement micro-frontend architecture patterns to support platform scalability.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs, integrating with back-end government microservices.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to develop lightweight Node.js or Java Spring Boot services where required.
• Manage state management solutions (NgRx, Redux) across complex multi-step citizen journeys.
• Implement internationalisation (i18n) and RTL (Right-to-Left) layout support for bilingual Arabic/English interfaces.
• Optimise front-end performance with lazy loading, tree shaking, and bundle optimisation for high-traffic government portals.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest/Jasmine.
• Work within CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployment environments (Docker).

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 6+ years of professional experience in full stack development with a strong front-end focus.
• Strong proficiency in Angular and/or React, with deep knowledge of TypeScript.
• Solid experience with state management libraries (NgRx, Redux).
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API integration and microservices.
• Experience building bilingual interfaces with i18n and RTL layout support.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and responsive design frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with micro-frontend architecture.
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards; implementation experience preferred.
• Front-end performance optimisation experience (lazy loading, bundle splitting, Lighthouse scores).
• Back-end familiarity with Node.js for supporting full-stack delivery.
• Experience with testing frameworks: Jest and Jasmine.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerised deployment environments.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience on government portals, e-services platforms, or citizen-facing digital platforms.
• Experience with SSR frameworks (Next.js, Angular Universal).
• Monorepo experience (Nx, Turborepo).
• Component-driven development experience (Storybook or similar).
• Exposure to micro-frontend architecture patterns.
• Familiarity with UAE government digital ecosystem (e.g., UAE Pass integration) is a strong plus.
