Senior Full Stack Developer - Java + Node

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining high-performance applications using Java and Node.js, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Node.js .
• Develop robust and reusable RESTful APIs and microservices .
• Build backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js .
• Design and implement scalable application architectures and backend components.
• Develop asynchronous and event-driven services using Node.js.
• Implement business logic, integrations, authentication, authorization, and API security.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies .
• Write optimized SQL queries and perform database design and performance tuning.
• Integrate applications with internal and external systems using REST APIs, messaging, and third-party services.
• Implement application monitoring, logging, error handling, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards and best practices.
• Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application quality.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based application deployments.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.

Required Technical Skills Java

• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java .
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Good understanding of Java Collections, Multithreading, Exception Handling, Streams, and Java 8+ features .
• Experience developing REST APIs and Microservices .
• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.

Node.js

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js .
• Experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks .
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, promises, callbacks, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience developing scalable REST APIs and backend services.
• Good understanding of Node.js performance optimization and error handling.

Database

• Strong experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Exposure to MongoDB or other NoSQL databases .
• Experience with database design, indexing, query optimization, and transaction management.

Microservices & Integration

• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture .
• Experience with API Gateway, service-to-service communication, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar is preferred.
• Understanding of distributed systems and fault-tolerant application design.

Cloud & DevOps

• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP .
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Strong experience with Git and source-code management.

Good to Have

• Experience working with React or Angular .
• Knowledge of TypeScript .
• Experience with Kafka or other event-streaming platforms.
• Experience with Redis or other caching technologies.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to cloud-native application development.
• Understanding of observability tools such as ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry .
