Senior Frontend Developer

Role & responsibilities

Role Overview:

We're seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to build and enhance customer-facing digital products. You'll use modern React ecosystem frameworks and contemporary frontend libraries to create scalable, accessible, responsive, and high-performing user experiences. Working with product, design, backend, and cloud teams, you'll translate requirements and approved designs into reliable frontend solutions, including applications built using micro-frontend architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

Frontend Architecture & Engineering

Design and implement scalable frontend architecture, reusable components, and modular application patterns

Translate approved UI designs and product requirements into responsive, accessible, and production-ready interfaces

Evaluate technical requirements, identify implementation risks, and contribute to frontend solution planning

Frontend Development & Delivery

Develop and maintain frontend applications using React and the modern React ecosystem, including Next.js and React Native

Build scalable and modular frontend solutions using micro-frontend architectures such as Module Federation or single-spa

Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-tested code; conduct peer reviews and uphold engineering standards

Optimize application performance, Core Web Vitals, accessibility (WCAG), cross-browser compatibility, and mobile responsiveness

Integrate REST and/or GraphQL APIs and collaborate with backend and AWS cloud teams on data flow, deployment, and troubleshooting

Team Collaboration

Work closely with Product Managers, UX/UI designers, and engineering teams to translate requirements into practical technical solutions

Participate in sprint planning, technical discussions, estimation, demos, and retrospectives

Mentor team members and contribute to technical documentation, reusable standards, and frontend best practices

Required Qualifications:

4 to 5 years of professional frontend development experience using modern web frameworks

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and the React ecosystem, including React.js and Next.js

Working knowledge of Vue.js and/or Angular; experience across multiple frontend frameworks is a plus

Hands-on experience implementing micro-frontend architectures using Module Federation, single-spa, or similar patterns

Experience with state management, component architecture, API integration, responsive development, and frontend testing

Experience building performant applications, with a strong understanding of optimization, caching, bundling, browser DevTools, and Core Web Vitals

Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Proficiency with Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, coding standards, and Agile development practices

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

AWS experience (EC2, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, RDS, or similar services)

Experience working on large-scale micro-frontend projects

Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and tools such as Figma is an added advantage

Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright

Experience with animation libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP, three.js)

Full-stack capabilities or backend API experience (Node.js, Python, etc.)

Experience with SSR/SSG, performance monitoring, and web vitals optimization

Open-source contributions or a portfolio demonstrating strong frontend engineering work

Experience in SaaS, B2B, or enterprise product development
