Senior Engineering Manager (US Shift)

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Engineering Manager to lead the development of our internal software platform. This is not a maintenance role - we are building complex systems from the ground up and need someone who enjoys solving difficult technical problems while leading a high-performing engineering team.

This role is ideal for someone who is still early in their leadership journey, enjoys moving fast, takes ownership, and wants to grow into larger organizational responsibilities over time.

You will work closely with executive leadership to build scalable products, improve engineering processes, mentor developers, and help shape the future of our technology.

What Youll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of Full Stack Engineers.
• Drive architecture and technical decisions across our MERN platform.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
• Write production-quality code when needed.
• Review pull requests and maintain high engineering standards.
• Work closely with Product, Operations, and Leadership to turn business ideas into technical solutions.
• Improve engineering processes, documentation, and development workfl ows.
• Plan sprint deliverables and remove technical roadblocks.
• Hire, coach, and develop engineering talent.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time without sacrificing quality.
• Take ownership of technical outcomes rather than simply managing people.

Required Experience

• 6+ years of Full Stack Software Engineering experience.
• 2+ years leading engineering teams.
• Strong experience with the MERN Stack

• Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture.
• Experience designing scalable systems.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
