Senior Engineer -Quality Inprocess

Job Summary

Perform in-process inspections during composite lay-up, curing, bonding, machining, and assembly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with drawings, work instructions, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor critical process parameters and maintain material traceability.
• Raise and manage NCRs, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Support First Article Inspections (FAI), audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of composite manufacturing processes (prepreg, wet lay-up, RTM, autoclave curing).
• Experience with AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GDT.
• Knowledge of quality tools (8D, SPC, FMEA).
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Aerospace or advanced composites manufacturing experience.
