Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls, including firewall policies, NAT, VPN, IPS, and High Availability (HA).
- Configure and support Juniper EX/QFX switches and Juniper Mist Wireless infrastructure.
- Perform L2 troubleshooting for network, firewall, VPN, LAN/WAN, and wireless connectivity issues.
- Handle incident management, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and ensure resolution within SLA.
- Configure and manage VLANs, trunking, port security, and network segmentation.
- Monitor network performance using SIEM and network monitoring tools.
- Execute approved network and firewall changes with minimal business impact.
- Work with L1, L3, and OEM vendors for issue resolution and escalations.
- Maintain documentation, security compliance, and audit readiness.
- Support a 247 enterprise/airport IT environment with rotational shifts and on-call support.
