Senior Engineer (MG4) - Strategic Projects & TPL Department - R&D

• Key Responsibilities
• Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee project timelines from the initial design-for-manufacturing (DFM) phase through to final assembly and dispatch of high-capacity gensets.
• Cross-Functional Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between RD, Supply Chain, Production, and Quality Assurance teams to resolve bottlenecks.
• Resource Capacity Planning: Monitor shop floor capacity and material availability (engines, alternators, controllers) to prevent production delays.
• Process Optimization: Support the implementation of Industry 4.0 initiatives, including real-time data tracking and digital twin integration on the production line.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential supply chain or technical risks early and develop contingency plans to maintain the "On-Time-In-Full" (OTIF) delivery metric.
• Documentation Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including Gantt charts, Milestone reports, and Budget trackers using ERP/Project Management software.
  
  
• Technical Skills Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a significant plus.
• Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of Power Generation/Genset assembly, including canopy fabrication, acoustic treatment, and control panel integration.
• Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with advanced manufacturing techniques (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) and ISO standards specific to the energy sector.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced MS Project or Primavera.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
• Basic understanding of CAD/CAM to interpret engineering drawings.
