Senior Engineer

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer with a strong background in Government infrastructure projects, especially in the construction of Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs). This is a site-based travelling role requiring supervision and coordination across our ongoing Government infrastructure projects located in Kurnool, Anantapur, Chittoor, Kadapa, Nellore, and Prakasam districts of Andhra Pradesh. The ideal candidate should have expertise in AutoCAD, levelling instruments, site execution, and problem-solving to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise STP construction works and ensure quality, safety, and compliance with standards.
• Review and prepare technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Use surveying and levelling instruments (Total Station, Auto Level, etc.) for site execution.
• Coordinate with government departments, consultants, and contractors.
• Monitor project schedules, progress, and prepare reports.
• Solve site-related technical issues effectively.
• Execute internal CC/BT/WBM roads and other infrastructure works.
• Oversee daily activities, labour management, and documentation including LF Books, Site Order Books, and updating DPRs for management.
• Safeguard and reconcile all construction materials at site to ensure effective usage and minimise wastage.
• Ensure work adheres to plans, specifications, safety regulations, budgets, and schedules.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Tech /Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 4- 8 years of experience in Government infrastructure projects (STP/WTP/Water Supply/Sewerage).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and site surveying instruments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
