Responsibilities

Develop and refine ABS control algorithms, including sensor processing, slip estimation, and brake control logic.
Build and maintain MATLAB/Simulink models for ABS software functions.
Conduct MIL/SIL/HIL testing, debugging, and performance evaluation.
Work with embedded software teams to support auto-code generation and ECU integration.
Use vehicle dynamics knowledge to analyse braking behaviour, stability, and system performance.
Support lab testing and on-road validation, including data analysis and calibration work.
Document system design, test reports, and compliance considerations.
Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, and testing teams throughout the development cycle.

Required Skills

3-5 years of experience in control systems or braking system software development.
Strong proficiency in:
MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow
Control algorithm design
Model-based design practices
Solid understanding of vehicle dynamics, especially related to braking and stability.
Experience with embedded software workflows and auto-code generation.
Experience with sensor data processing (e.g., wheel speed, acceleration).
Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262) is a plus.
Familiarity with calibration tools and CAN diagnostics.
Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions.
