Senior DPDK Software Developer

Job Summary

We are hiring for a DPDK role for our Bangalore location.

This position requires 7-12 years of experience and a Degree or Masters in Computer/Electronics Engineering discipline. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in C/C++ programming, a strong understanding of DPDK, and expertise in fast path/data plane/User plane software development for next-generation 5G systems.

Job Description

This role focuses on the design and development of high-performance networking software. You will be instrumental in building fast path solutions, leveraging technologies such as Intel's DPDK and Vector Packet Processing (VPP), and ensuring a complete understanding of packet flow within these systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & development of fast path/data plane/User plane Software for next-generation 5G systems
• Performance profiling and tuning software on different architectures
• Work on Intel's DPDK and Vector packet processing (VPP)
• Complete packet flow understanding of Fast Path

Requirements

• Experience: 7 -12 years
• Degree or Masters in Computer/Electronics Engineering discipline.
• Hands-on experience in C/C++ programming.
• Prior experience in working with fast path/control plane applications.
• DPDK experience is essential.
• Good data structure/algorithm skills.
• Good understanding of Operating System concepts and x86 architecture.
• Fair understanding of networking domain and TCP/IP protocols.
• Working experience in using debugging tools like Valgrind, GDB, Purify, etc.
• Experience in network tools like Wireshark, tcpdump.
• Should be a good team player, possess a can-do attitude, and focus on quality.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills.
