JOB Description

The profile involves migrating client workloads and infrastructure from on-premises environments or self-managed Microsoft Azure cloud servers to AWS.

We are looking for seasoned DevOps professionals with hands-on experience in cloud migration projects, particularly those involving AWS adoption, infrastructure transformation, and migration from on-premises/Azure environments.

The ideal candidate should have the technical expertise and maturity to plan, execute, troubleshoot, and manage complex migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption and a smooth transition to AWS.

Hard Skills / Need to Have:

• 7+ years in DevOps or platform engineering
  
• Proven experience migrating on-prem workloads to cloud
  
• Deep AWS expertise (hands-on, not just theoretical)
  
• Solid Azure background for migration context
  
• Production Terraform at scale
  
• Hands-on with Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions
  
• ECS / Fargate container orchestration
  
• Strong scripting skills (Python or Bash)
  
• Security-first mindset across cloud infra
  

Nice to have:

• Have experience in various development languages, such as PHP, .Net, Node.
  
• Experience in databases, such as MySQL and Postgres.
  

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Lead the end-to-end Azure AWS cloud migration
  
• Assess on-premises workloads and define lift, shift, and modernisation strategies
  
• Design and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
  
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines
  
• Manage containerised workloads on Kubernetes (EKS / AKS) and ECS / Fargate
  
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability across environments
  
• Define and enforce security, access control, and compliance standards
  
• Automate repetitive ops tasks and drive toil reduction
  
• Collaborate with development teams to embed DevOps culture
