Senior Devops Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Partner with engineering, development, QA, and project management teams to plan and execute build, release, and deployment processes.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability, availability, and security.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning.
• Build and maintain containerized environments using Docker and orchestrate applications using Kubernetes.
• Maintain and optimize build and deployment tools such as Jenkins.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, and ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve build failures, deployment issues, and environment-related challenges.
• Automate repetitive tasks and improve DevOps workflows to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Maintain version control systems and ensure proper release management processes.
• Ensure adherence to DevOps best practices including monitoring, logging, and security standards.
• Communicate release activities and deployment status with stakeholders and continuously improve the release process.

Preferred candidate profile

• BSc / BTech in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• 610 years of experience in DevOps, build and release engineering, or cloud infrastructure management.
• Strong experience working in Linux-based environments and scripting.
