Job Description
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (68 years) with hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, container orchestration, and monitoring.
The candidate should have practical experience working with AWS, Kubernetes, and automation tools, and should be able to independently handle day-to-day DevOps tasks while collaborating closely with development and QA teams.
Key Responsibilities :
Infrastructure & Automation :
- Deploy, configure, and maintain infrastructure on AWS (EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, CloudWatch).
- Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or Ansible.
- Automate recurring operational tasks using Shell/Bash/Python scripts.
- Assist in improving environment reliability and scaling.
Containerization & Orchestration :
- Work with Kubernetes clusters (EKS or self-managed) for application deployments.
- Manage Docker images and optimize build processes.
- Use Helm for packaging and managing Kubernetes deployments.
- Configure ingress controllers like Traefik or NGINX, or service mesh like Istio (basic to intermediate exposure).
CI/CD Pipeline & Release Automation :
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Integrate tools like SonarQube for code quality checks.
Monitoring, Logging & Observability :
- Set up dashboards and alerts using Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch.
- Ensure proper monitoring of production and non-production environments.
- Assist in incident troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
Collaboration & Communication :
- Work closely with development, QA, and platform teams to support release cycles.
- Document processes, runbooks, and infrastructure workflows.
- Participate in on-call rotations (if applicable).
Requirements :
- 6 to 8 years of hands-on DevOps or SRE experience.
- Strong experience in AWS and IAM fundamentals.
- Good knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab CI).
- Experience with Terraform or Ansible.
- Strong Linux administration skills.
- Scripting knowledge in Shell/Bash/Python.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
