JOB PURPOSE
PHINIA is seeking a Senior Power Platform Microsoft 365 Developer to design, develop, and support modern collaboration solutions, enterprise applications, workflows, AI-enabled solutions, and custom web/mobile applications leveraging Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Azure services, and modern development frameworks.
This role partners closely with technical leads, business stakeholders, and cross-functional IT teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions that improve employee productivity, streamline business processes, enhance information access, and support PHINIA s evolving digital workplace and AI initiatives across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on senior developer with strong technical problem-solving abilities, experience delivering enterprise solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, and a passion for modern application development, automation, and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain enterprise solutions using SharePoint Online, SPFx, Microsoft Graph API, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Azure services, and related Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Contribute to the design, development, and support of scalable, secure, and maintainable collaboration solutions, intranet experiences, workflows, AI-enabled solutions, and custom web/mobile applications aligned with PHINIA s digital workplace strategy and governance standards.
- Develop responsive and accessible user experiences including communication sites, team sites, hub sites, custom SPFx components, and enterprise applications using React, TypeScript, REST APIs, and modern web development frameworks.
- Design and implement workflow automation, forms, integrations, and business process solutions using Power Platform technologies and modern low-code/no-code development patterns.
- Build and support custom applications and integrations leveraging Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Azure AI Foundry, and Entra ID/Azure AD authentication.
- Contribute to reusable solution patterns, shared components, governance standards, and development best practices to improve scalability, maintainability, and consistency across the platform.
- Support and enhance AI and automation initiatives, including Copilot Studio agents, AI Builder, intelligent document processing, conversational experiences, and emerging Microsoft AI capabilities.
- Create and maintain SharePoint site architectures, metadata models, permissions strategies, content types, lists, libraries, retention controls, and lifecycle management processes.
- Integrate Microsoft 365 and custom applications with enterprise platforms and external systems using secure API-first and event-driven integration patterns.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across SharePoint, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, mobile applications, and custom web solutions, including performance optimization, reliability improvements, and root cause analysis.
- Support modern application lifecycle management (ALM) practices using Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, source control, environment strategies, and release management processes.
- Ensure all solutions comply with PHINIA security, compliance, privacy, accessibility, and data governance standards, including least-privilege access and Zero Trust principles.
- Collaborate closely with technical leads, Infrastructure, Security, Workplace Technologies, business stakeholders, and external partners to gather requirements, refine solution designs, and deliver high-quality digital solutions.
- Mentor junior developers, interns, and citizen developers through technical guidance, code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing to help mature the organization s development capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, platform optimization, AI adoption, and improved user experience through reusable components, modern design practices, and emerging Microsoft technologies.
- Evaluate new Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, Azure, mobile, and AI capabilities and provide recommendations to support future platform and application initiatives.
