Senior Database Administrator

Role Summary As a Database Administrator, you will build highly scalable resilient database platforms. Youll work on solving complex distributed systems and performance engineering challenges and on large-scale production environments handling TB-scale data

• Proven experience with InnoDB engine internals.
• Proven experience with the MySQL query optimizer.
• Automation mindset.
• Proven database migration experience.
• Proven experience with database upgrades. Say, 8-8.4
• Proven troubleshooting experience.
• Experience working with data sizes in the TB range and large clusters (e.g., 20-50 nodes per cluster) is beneficial.
• Good if you able to convert business use case to technical.
• Proven experience with the Wired Tiger engine.
• Good understanding of sharding,partitioning, sharded clusters, replication, HA and DR.
• Good understanding of HTAP solutions.
• Good understanding of OLAP ( LSM) based databases.
• Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and containers.
• Cloud SQL and RDS.
• One OLTP ( MySQL ) One NoSQL (either MongoDB or Cassandra).
• Proficiency in any one programming language.
