Senior Data Science Consultant (Recommender Systems Specialist)
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Science Consultant with deep expertise in Machine Learning and a specialized focus on Recommender Systems. This is a high-impact, contract role for an immediate joiner capable of hitting the ground running in a fast-paced environment.

Role Overview
Position: Senior Data Science Consultant (Contractor)

Experience Level: 8 14 Years

Contract Duration: 3 6 Months

Payroll: 3rd-Party Payroll

Work Mode: Hybrid Preferred

Shift: Regular (9:00 AM 6:00 PM)

Technical Requirements
Mandate : Hands-on experience on recommendation side ( Light FM & 2Tower ) experience is must to clear the tech interview
Machine Learning Mastery: Minimum 6+ years of core experience in designing, developing, and deploying production-grade Machine Learning models.

Recommendation Systems (Mandatory): At least 5 years of hands-on experience specifically building recommendation engines (e.g., Collaborative Filtering, Content-Based, Hybrid models, Matrix Factorization, Deep Learning-based recommenders, or Reinforcement Learning for discovery).

Advanced Analytics: Proficiency in Python/R and deep familiarity with ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or XGBoost).

Data Engineering: Ability to handle large-scale datasets, including data cleaning, feature engineering, and working with SQL/NoSQL databases.

Deployment: Experience with MLOps practices, model versioning, and scaling algorithms in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities
Architect and optimize sophisticated recommendation algorithms to enhance user engagement and business outcomes.

Lead the end-to-end ML lifecycle: from exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing to model deployment and monitoring.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into technical data science solutions.

Fine-tune model performance through A/B testing and rigorous validation frameworks.

Soft Skills & Qualifications
Communication: Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: A proactive mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and iterate quickly under tight deadlines
