Senior Data Engineer- MS Fabric

About the RoleCelebal Technologies is looking for a skilled Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer with strong experience in data engineering, data warehousing, BI, SQL, PySpark, and data modelling. The candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills and be comfortable working in a modern DevOps-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
• Work on data ingestion, transformation, processing, and integration across various data sources.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines using Fabric and related data engineering components.
• Build and maintain efficient data warehouse and data lake solutions.
• Work closely with BI teams to support reporting and analytics requirements.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and PySpark-based data transformations.
• Implement effective data modelling practices for analytical workloads.
• Follow development best practices using VS Code, Git, DevOps, PRs, commits, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot performance and data-quality issues and provide effective solutions.
• Collaborate with business, technical, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric Data Engineering.
• Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and architecture.
• Strong SQL and PySpark skills.
• Strong understanding of Data Modelling.
• Above-average knowledge of BI and reporting concepts.
• Familiarity with VS Code, Azure DevOps/Git, PRs, commits, and code review processes.
• Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
