Senior Data Engineer

• Design and develop large-scale data solutions using AWS and Redshift.
• Migrate data from on-premises to cloud-based systems.
• Develop and maintain normalized data models and ETL processes.
• Work with large data volumes and design solutions for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust testing and validation procedures.

Job Requirements

• Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts, including normalized data models and slowly changing dimensions.
• Experience with cloud-based ETL/ELT development processes and programming languages such as Python and Postgres.
• Good understanding of statistical analysis and advanced analytics techniques.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools like PowerBI and Looker is a plus.
• Ability to work with different data models, including normalized, denormalized, stars, snowflake, and Data Vault models.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A BE/ B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science/MCA/MSc(CS) is required.
• Experience in migrating data solutions into AWS.
• Mastery of AWS and Redshift.
• Expertise in data warehousing (normalized data models, slowly changing dimensions, ETL processes, etc.) in a PostgreSQL environment.
• Experience working with and designing solutions for large data volumes.
• Understanding different data models like normalized, denormalized, stars, snowflake, and Data Vault models.
• Experience in cloud-based ETL/ELT development processes.
• Experience with cloud service providers Glue, step function, lambda, S3, Redshift.
• Experience with programming languages Python, Postgres, MS SQL.
• Experience with business intelligence tools like PowerBI, and Looker is a merit.
