Senior Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-scale data platforms and modern data architectures. The ideal candidate will define data strategy, establish architecture standards, drive governance, and provide technical leadership for cloud-native data solutions while collaborating with business and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise data architecture roadmap aligned with business and technology strategy.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms on AWS.
• Lead the design and governance of enterprise/master data models, ensuring consistency across systems.
• Define and implement survivorship rules, master data management (MDM), and data quality frameworks.
• Establish and govern data lineage, metadata management, schema governance, and data architecture standards.
• Architect modern Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Data Fabric solutions.
• Drive architectural decisions for ETL/ELT frameworks, real-time and batch data processing, and cloud migration initiatives.
• Collaborate with business leaders, enterprise architects, product teams, and engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews, define best practices, and mentor architects and data engineering teams.
• Ensure platform scalability, security, compliance, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in Enterprise Data Architecture and Data Governance.
• Strong expertise in AWS services, including S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, IAM, Athena, and ECS/EKS.
• Deep knowledge of Data Modeling, Master Data Management, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, and Schema Governance.
• Hands-on understanding of Python, SQL, Apache Airflow, DBT, Spark/PySpark, and modern ETL/ELT architectures.
• Experience with Data Fabric, cloud migration, CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and mentoring capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Data Analytics Certification.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, or other modern data platforms.
• Exposure to AI/ML data platforms and enterprise analytics is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and strategic decision-making skills.
