Senior Cyber Security Analyst

Role & responsibilities

- Minimum 6 years of experience in cybersecurity operations within the BFSI sector.
- Proficiency in using Illumio, Trend Micro Deep Security, and UNIX/Linux systems for security management.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls.
- Demonstrated experience in incident management, threat analysis, and vulnerability assessment.
- Excellent understanding of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.

Preferred candidate profile

- Manage and oversee the security operations center to ensure effective monitoring and response to security incidents.
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to protect the organization's digital assets.
- Utilize Illumio, Trend Micro Deep Security, and UNIX/Linux environments to enhance security measures.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Lead incident management efforts, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery from security events.
- Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate security measures into new and existing systems.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training to employees to foster a culture of security vigilance.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on complex security issues.

Requirements

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
