Job Description
The Senior Cyber Security Analyst plays a key role as the bridge between the IAM Project Manager and the technical team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Identity and Access Management solutions to ensure secure access to enterprise systems, applications, and data. This role focuses on enforcing access governance, strengthening authentication mechanisms, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements. The analyst will work closely with cyber engineering team and business teams to manage user identities, roles, and privileges across on-premise and cloud environments.
As the guardian of technical excellence, the Senior Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for ensuring consistency, reliability, and overall quality of technical deliverables. The role coordinates collaboration between Technical Team, the Project Manager and other stakeholders, while overseeing technical experts to support successful project execution.
This position reports to the Cyber Security Engineering Team.
- Ensures the technical quality of the IAM project.
- Coordinators between the technical IAM team, the cyber security engineering team, particularly the project manager and IAM functional consultants and other stakeholders.
- Drive automation in identity lifecycle management and access workflows
- Continuously improve IAM processes and controls to enhance security and operational efficiency.Supervise technical team.
- Assign tasks and prioritize the technical backlog.
- Report progress to the Cyber Security Engineering Team, particularly the Project Manager and IAM Functional Consultants.
- Facilitate communication between Project Manager, IAM Functional Consultants and Technical team.
- Project Manager: tracking progress, planning, managing priorities, and reporting.
- Technical Team: coordinating tasks, conducting code reviews, mentoring, sharing best practices, and ensuring integration of quality and test coverage.
- IAM Functional Consultants: translating functional requirements into technical specifications.
Masters degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience
Experience
- 8 to 16 years in IAM project in complex environments
- Experience in team management and supervision.
- Involvement in the design and delivery of complex or critical projects.
Technical skills
- Strong experience in managing IAM solutions in enterprise environments.
- Strong hands on experience with at least one leading IAM solution (e.g. Saviynt, SailPoint, One Identity, or equivalent).
- Experience in large-scale, multi-application and multi-entity organizations
- Experience with access governance, privileged access management, and identity lifecycle management
- Strong understanding of network protocols, Windows/Linux systems, and cloud environments.
- Proficiency in the main programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.).
- Strong Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud security solutions and principles
- Knowledge of application security (authentication, authorization, encryption).
- Good knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Confluence or others.
- Clear technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
