Job Description
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements such as consultancy, framework, memorandums of understanding, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Conduct commercial reviews to identify departures from governance parameters and assist project teams in obtaining necessary internal approvals.
- Draft and update commercial guidance to raise awareness of recurrent topics and new regulations in key markets and jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Provide support on commercial risk management for projects and other business activities.
- Assist in developing and implementing contract management processes and procedures.
Job Requirements
- LLB or Quantity Surveying degree is preferred.
- Relevant experience in large engineering or construction companies is required.
- Understanding of UK infrastructure contract law is preferred, along with experience using standardized contracts like the New Engineering Contract.
- Possess good practical experience in applying legal principles and commercial law.
- Demonstrate great analytical skills and excellent legal knowledge.
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and balance competing priorities.
- Effective communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
