Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Content Support Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to support and resolve content-related technical issues across web and ePub formats. The role involves troubleshooting HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, and MathML content, performing content fixes, and developing scripts for bulk content updates.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with web content technologies, ePub, content production tools, scripting, version control, and web accessibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve content-support tickets involving HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, jQuery, and MathML.
• Troubleshoot and fix content-related issues across web and ePub formats.
• Perform content fixes and updates using Adobe InDesign and ePub tools.
• Develop and maintain Node.js or Python scripts for bulk content updates and automation.
• Work with JSON and MySQL for content-related troubleshooting and updates.
• Ensure content compatibility across different browsers and platforms.
• Apply web accessibility standards to digital content.
• Work with Habitat and ePub content workflows.
• Maintain proper version-control practices using Git.
• Use VBA and scripting where required for content processing and bulk updates.
• Analyze incoming support tickets, identify root causes, and implement appropriate fixes.
• Collaborate with engineering and content teams to resolve complex content issues.
• Ensure content changes are accurate, scalable, and maintainable.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in digital publishing or content technology environments.
• Strong understanding of web and ePub content structures.
• Experience automating repetitive content updates through scripting.
• Good troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Understanding of content production and publishing workflows.

Candidate Profile

• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Content Support, Content Engineering, Digital Publishing, Web Content, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting experience with web-based content.
• Ability to work independently on content-support tickets and production issues.
• Strong attention to detail and content accuracy.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment from Ahmedabad.
